Trial, Subscription and Renewal Terms
These specific terms govern the trial period, recurring plans, automatic renewals, changes and termination of Firmato subscriptions.
1. 15-day trial
Unless the offer states otherwise, the standard trial runs for 15 days from registration. UESE may limit high-cost functions, require KYC or require a payment method before usage-based services. Multiple trials obtained through duplicate accounts or circumvention are not permitted.
2. Plan activation
Before purchase, Firmato displays the plan, price, taxes where determinable, billing frequency, included volumes, charge date and renewal conditions. Where a trial with a payment method converts automatically, the conversion and first charge date must be clearly displayed before confirmation.
3. Automatic renewal
Recurring subscriptions renew for the stated period until renewal is switched off or the contract ends. The Customer authorises the payment provider to collect recurring amounts. Any national consumer rules requiring advance renewal reminders or notices continue to apply.
4. Upgrades, downgrades and changes
Upgrades and downgrades may produce proration, credit or changes from the next renewal as shown at checkout. Plan changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. UESE may change future features and prices with the notice required by contract and law.
5. Failed payment and grace period
Following a failed payment, Firmato may retry collection through the provider, notify the Customer and apply a grace period. After that period, usage features or new operations may be suspended while retaining reasonable access to invoices, data export and payment remediation, unless security or legal reasons require otherwise.
6. Cancellation of renewal
Customers may turn off renewal in the billing area where technically available or through support. Unless withdrawal, refund or another rule applies, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term and does not automatically reverse usage services already performed.
7. Consumer withdrawal right
Consumers benefit from the withdrawal right provided by EU and national distance-contract law, generally for 14 days, subject to exceptions and specific rules for digital services/content. Where a consumer asks for performance to begin during the withdrawal period, Firmato obtains the declarations required by law and applies the corresponding economic consequences.
8. Refunds
Refunds depend on applicable law, the refund policy and the state of performance. Signatures, time stamps, verification or third-party services already consumed may be technically and legally irreversible. Billing errors are reviewed using logs and provider references.
9. Evidence of consent and transactions
Firmato may retain the accepted terms version, timestamp, IP, user agent, account identifier, payment provider reference and other evidence necessary to demonstrate checkout, renewal, cancellation, withdrawal or a dispute.
10. National supplement — European Union / common rules
Distance contracts
EU consumer law generally provides a 14-day withdrawal period for distance contracts, subject to exceptions and specific rules for digital services/content started immediately.
11. Versioning, precedence and evidence retention
Firmato records the version made available and, where the application flow provides for acceptance, the corresponding acceptance evidence including date, account and technical audit information. Material changes may require renewed acknowledgement or acceptance. Language and country are separate variables: language determines the linguistic version, while country determines the applicable national supplement.
