API Terms of Use
Firmato APIs allow authorized customers to integrate signatures, documents, wallet, governance and other services into their systems. API use is subject to these terms and the Firmato General Terms.
1. Access and credentials
API keys and tokens are issued to the authorized organization and must be protected as secrets. Public sharing, inclusion in exposed repositories or use outside authorized environments is prohibited.
2. Scopes and least privilege
Keys may be restricted by scope. Customers should grant only the permissions required for the intended integration.
3. Rate limits and safeguards
Firmato may apply frequency, size, concurrency and consumption limits to protect stability and security. Circumvention, abusive scraping or harmful automation may be blocked.
4. Webhooks
Customer webhook endpoints should use HTTPS and validate signatures, timestamps and anti-replay mechanisms provided by Firmato. Customers are responsible for idempotent processing and retries.
5. Data and compliance
Customers must have a lawful basis and authority to transmit documents and data through the API and comply with privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property and retention obligations.
6. Versioning and deprecation
UESE uses reasonable compatibility practices and may release new versions, fix vulnerabilities or deprecate endpoints. Material breaking changes will normally be notified with reasonable notice, except for security or legal urgency.
7. Suspension
UESE may suspend credentials where they are compromised, abused, create platform risk, breach contract or must be disabled by law. General Terms and Enterprise remedies remain applicable.
8. Versioning, precedence and evidence retention
Firmato records the version made available and, where the application flow provides for acceptance, the corresponding acceptance evidence including date, account and technical audit information. Material changes may require renewed acknowledgement or acceptance. Language and country are separate variables: language determines the linguistic version, while country determines the applicable national supplement.
