Accessibility Statement
UESE aims to make Firmato usable by as many people as possible, including persons with disabilities. This statement describes the service’s accessibility approach and does not claim certified full conformance in the absence of a complete formal audit.
1. Scope
This statement covers the public site, authentication, dashboard, principal signing workflows, payments, KYC, documentation and Legal Center to the extent controlled by UESE. Interfaces delivered directly by third-party providers may be subject to their own accessibility statements.
2. Technical references
Firmato uses the applicable requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), national implementing law and, as technical benchmarks, EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA where relevant. Reference to these standards is a design and testing target, not automatic certification.
3. Applied principles
- Semantic structure and consistent hierarchy.
- Keyboard operation and visible focus.
- Contrast and text resizing.
- Labels and instructions for forms.
- Understandable error messages.
- Text alternatives for informative non-text content.
- Responsive design and RTL support for Arabic.
- Particular attention to identification, security, electronic signature and payment functions.
4. Legal documents and print
Web legal text uses responsive readable sizing. The print edition uses Arial 9 pt, black justified body text and bold headings as an editorial specification; browser zoom and assistive technology remain available on the web version.
5. Known limitations and third parties
Scanned PDFs, user-uploaded documents, CAPTCHA, KYC providers, payment pages and external components may contain limitations outside UESE’s complete control. Where possible, Firmato selects accessible integrations and provides reasonable alternatives.
6. Monitoring and improvement
UESE carries out checks during development and plans periodic testing. Confirmed issues are prioritised according to impact and corrected on a reasonable basis. Significant interface releases should include accessibility regression review.
7. Feedback
Accessibility barriers may be reported through Firmato support or UESE contacts, identifying the page/function, assistive technology used and issue encountered, without sending unnecessary sensitive data.
8. Alternative measures
Where a function is temporarily inaccessible, UESE assesses a proportionate alternative channel enabling the user to obtain information or complete the operation without discriminatory burden, consistently with security and identity requirements.
9. National supplement — European Union / common rules
European Accessibility Act
Directive (EU) 2019/882 covers e-commerce services and requires identification, security, electronic signature and payment functionality supplied as part of the service to be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
10. Versioning, precedence and evidence retention
Firmato records the version made available and, where the application flow provides for acceptance, the corresponding acceptance evidence including date, account and technical audit information. Material changes may require renewed acknowledgement or acceptance. Language and country are separate variables: language determines the linguistic version, while country determines the applicable national supplement.
